Halftone Studio will give a unique touch to your wedding photographs. Whether you like a more photojournalistic and modern style or want more classic, timeless, images I can accommodate.

Typical traditional wedding photography is something many professional photographers can deliver. I however, specialize in a clean and modern photojournalistic look. That means I don't "set-up" shots except for specific portraits of course.

My goal is to provide a series of images that tell the story of your wedding day. Throughout the day you won't have to take any direction from me, thus allowing me to capture everyone in a natural pleasing manner. When it comes time for your portraits I try to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible. There's nothing worse than stiff and awkward staged shots that are so common with many traditional photographers.

In today's world of social networking and sharing digital media online, I specialize in providing web based galleries and multimedia productions of your wedding. My custom designed books also offer a unique display of your pictures when you want to enjoy professionally printed images. Please refer to my products page for more detailed information.

Custom Portraits

Like my wedding coverage, there's nothing traditional about my custom portraits. I offer on-location portrait photography. This accomplishes 2 things that are vital to a successful story telling portrait.

First, it allows you to pick a location that is important to you. This can be as simple as at home on the couch or by a lake in the park or even the sidewalk of a downtown street. A relevant location that has meaning to you, or reflects an aspect of your personality will add an important layer to your portrait that you'll never get with your typical studio shot.

Additionally, a familiar location will make you more comfortable. This means your body language will be more natural and pleasing. For bussy families, having portraits shot at home is generally much more convenient and you won't have to worry about forgetting something.

Just because we come to you doesn't mean you can't have a studio-style portrait if that's the look you want. With our mobile studio we can take portraits with clean backdrops virtually anywhere.
